Welcome to the Science Fiction & Fantasy issue of BLT. Your parents
thought it was cute when you got excited about the horse of a different
color in the Wizard of Oz. They were only slightly reluctant when you
started reading Edgar Rice Burroughs and John Norman. They weren't
thinking about how Judy Garland did lots of drugs and consorted with homosexuals.
Well, they may not have made the Judy Garland connection yet, but I bet they
have noticed your bad behavior and worse attitude. For new ititiates, BLT is
the humor 'zine for poorly socialized folks such as yourself. Folks who never
did quite manage to be normal human beings for any extended time period.
Our next issue is the Hot for Teacher/Vandalism issue. Yes, you miscreants,
it is time to go back to school. If you want to tell us about your first days
back (or any amusing days you may have enjoyed in the past) send your short
funny submissions in by September 8, 1993. We always welcome your original
clip art as well.
