BLT Thought You Should Hear It...

A few years ago, Steve Dog and I were at his house getting ready to go
out to some Halloween thing. We were just about ready to leave when
these three kids showed up to trick-or-treat. "Hold on just a minute,
I'll see what I can find," I said, slamming the door. We looked all
over the kitchen for any candy that his mom might have left, and came
up empty handed except for a bag of potatoes. Naturally enough, we
gave each of the kids a potato (no 'e'). "What am I supposed to do
with this?" one young ghost asked. "Take it home to your mom, boil
it and put some salt and pepper on it," Steve said closing the door.
